Patent Masters came from humble beginnings as a set of study guides questions that were created to help explain the topics of the USPTO registration exam. These notes and questions were designed to help the complete novice succeed on the exam.

One of the major issues that we have tried to address is the low quality in prep questions. Many exam study systems have answers that simply reference the MPEP sections without explaining the right and wrong answers. Having an answer that says "Correct Answer C. Explanation See MPEP" doesn't help anyone get where they need to be in a time crunch.

Furthermore, the cost of some study systems can be several times our price. Many exam takers were using hand me down study materials to save money. Clearly, there is a need for an affordable, effective option that provides the online interface of the other systems.
